Goodnight

I waited for Veronica to get her next round of pain medication. Now I will go to sleep so I can be alert for the nurse shift change at 7 tomorrow. We are told that tomorrow may seem the same to Veronica, but I will start to notice little wins. She is speaking with more complete sentences this evening. Still trying to manage the pain.

How beautiful that you and your children motivate her. She is very blessed to have you by her side and your children to go home too. Prayers will continue! You guys are not alone!

Praying and sacrificing as much as I can for continued wins! Cheering you on, Roni, from the other side of the country! One of the hardest things for anyone to go through is to watch someone suffer through so much pain…Jake, you too inspire me every day. Thank you for being there, for being strong for Roni. My prayers are with you (and the Shecklets) too. You guys are one heck of a team!

Watch out world, here she comes!

Today is the powerful feast of the Conversion of St. Paul…check out the Gospel from Mark 16: 15-18…

“Jesus appeared to the Eleven and said to them:
    “Go into the whole world
and proclaim the Gospel to every creature. These signs will accompany those who believe:
in my name they will drive out demons,
    they will speak new languages.
They will pick up serpents with their hands,
and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not harm them.
They will lay hands on the sick, and THEY WILL RECOVER.”
