Our good friends from KC came to visit for a few days. Many laughs and fun memories were made and we captured a couple of pictures to document how much the kids have grown 😊

Shecklet #1 won a class game today and the prize was getting to wear this:
He is really enjoying middle school and loves his social studies and science classes.
We made our annual trip to the orchard where Grandma Patti works every fall. We went through the corn maze, washed apples, ate apples, picked apples, and selected pumpkins. It was a great day!
The day was perfect for attending our city’s “block party” where the kids could check out City Hall, all kinds of city vehicles, inspect the jail, and try on police gear, among other things.
The weather this weekend has been beautiful. It’s one of the reasons we love Minnesota. Yesterday we spent some time outside at the newly remodeled French Lake Park (no pictures, just memories in our heads.) Today, Jake is playing Settlers of Catan with Shecklets 1, 2, & 3, while I’m drawing chalk animals with Shecklet #4.
Slight change in prescription means new glasses for Shecklet #1. Doesn’t he look grown up?!?
Shecklets 1, 2, &3 started 6th, 5th and 2nd grade today! (I get two more days with Shecklet #4 before she starts her new adventure.
