First time for Little #4 in the kid seat of the shopping cart. She wasn’t thrilled with getting buckled in at first, but after she realized the freedom associated with it, she loved it.

It’s a cool, misty morning and we had an unsuccessful trip to Menards, but none of that matters. These two brighten my day 🙂
Fun at the Botique
We did a little costume try on while shopping for groceries this morning.
Jake’s response to the text I sent with these shots was, “She looks like a character from Candy Crush!”
My new comeback
I was shopping with the kids tonight, (the boys in the big kid part of the cart and Little Miss was in the Bjorn kicking her legs,) when we rounded a corner and crossed the path of the sweetest lady. Typically random strangers will see me and say, “You’ve got your hands full!” Instead this woman said to me, “You’re surrounded by love!” She made my night…and gave me a new comeback.
Getting ready for school
Our visit to the big red store today included a trip to the school supply section. (I’m always looking for deals on Post-it notes since I go through so many of them.) While we were shopping, we rolled past the backpack aisle. Nolan eyed up a Toy Story backpack, so Lincoln, likewise, found one too. Once we were home, the two of them modeled their new bags before promptly finding all sorts of things to load into them.
