Intersession 2018
The big Shecklets are off of school this week (because we opted to not sign them up for intersession classes this year.) Today we had a hand appointment for Shecklet #3, went to the park (until three bus loads of kids showed up,) and then went to MOA to ride some rides and go to the American Girl store.
Cousins!
We had a fun group of visitors today – Jake’s aunt, uncle, one cousin and her boys came to see us. The kids had a blast playing with their (great) uncle, who even took them to the little park to help them burn off some energy.
After playing at the park, we had pizza, pretzel jello salad, and chocolate vinegar cake. Jake’s aunt knows my faves 😊
Park and backyard in MG
We met one of the Shecklets’ cousins and aunt at the park this morning.
From the park, we grabbed lunch and went to the office for a bit so I could catch up on work. Then we stopped over at Nana and Papa’s house where he kids helped Papa wash the Kubota and then got to drive it, played in the backyard, and had a picnic dinner on the front yard. Perfect summer day!
Plymouth Playground
We attempted to go to French Lake Park today, but upon our arrival, found out that it was completely leveled. We were disappointed it was closed, but look forward to what it’s replacement will offer. We did find a consolation park about a mile away and the kids had fun sliding, running, spinning and swinging.
Overnight with T&K
Uncle Tony and Auntie Kristin invited Shecklet #1 over to spend the night at their house as part of his birthday present. From the looks of the photos that Kristin sent, he had an awesome time! Â They took him to Toys R Us where he selected a LEGO set, they played at the park, took Teddy (their dog) for a walk as well as played with him, made homemade pizza, and got to open an enormous art kit present from Kristin’s mom. Â (She is always so sweet to think of my kids!)
