Diamond Dotz

My Aunt Deb sent me home with three diamond dotz starter kits when I visited her back in September. The girls and I finally had a chance to sit down and work on them during MEA break. What fun! I can see why my aunt has enjoyed working on them!

19 years

I would say โ€œI do,โ€ again in a heartbeat. Married life has definitely been full of joys, sorrows, and plenty of unexpected events, but I canโ€™t imagine navigating it all without this guy by my side.

Happy Anniversary to my grill master!

HBD #11 to Shecklet #3 ๐ŸŽ‚

Shecklet #3 turned 11 today! She celebrate with friends last night. We thought 2-3 would be able to come over, but we ended up hosting 13 girls! They watched a movie outside, ate pizza and dessert, and played nighttime games in the yard. It was SO good to see them do normal kid activities again. ๐Ÿ’•

Today there were gifts, Chinese take out for dinner, and pumpkin cheesecake for dessert.

CC race and cheering section

Todayโ€™s CC race brought us close to Aunt Larissaโ€™s house. We called her en route to see if she wanted to come watch. She was free, so she joined me and the girls to cheer on Shecklet #2. He improved his time almost 50 seconds over his race last weekend!

Drama Class

Shecklet #3 is taking a drama class with her good friend. They meet twice a month and will have a performance in December. They are enjoying learning about projecting, annunciation, and even improvising.

Airsoft afternoon

Friends from church invited the guys to play airsoft this afternoon. They came home sweaty and tired and excited to play again.

Visit from the Schmidtshow

My cousin and his family came to visit over the weekend. 8 kids, 4 adults, lots of laughs, and new memories made. The kids connected like they were old friends, which was awesome to see. The adults enjoyed sitting around the kitchen table and catching up over Crown Royal peach with sweet tea. We took in a Twins game (unfortunately, they did not win,) but it didnโ€™t matter. It was just great to get to spend time with family.

This is what family looks like.

First CC race ๐Ÿƒ

Shecklet #2 is giving cross country a try as a way to get in shape for the ski season. Iโ€™m super proud of him for trying something new.
