Shecklet #3 planted herself out on the deck this morning and paged through her brother’s new books.

Opposite

“Mommy, I think the next movie is going to be “Melted.” Said to me by Shecklet #3 as she is looking at the “Frozen” movie case.

I love stuff like this about my kids. Their little brains work in such amazing ways.

8/19/14 – Edited to add: apparently #3 heard #2 talk about “Melted” as a sequel name to “Frozen” and it she remembered it the next day. 🙂

Cracker muncher

Next time I have to get past the screaming that will likely ensue by taking just taking the box of open crackers away from the toddler BEFORE driving home from Nana & Papa’s house.

Superhero night

Larissa thought it would be fun to bring the kids to a Saints baseball game. It just so happened that tonight was superhero night. The kids donned their capes and masks and had a great time! (Unfortunately, Shecklet #2 couldn’t join us due to mom having to enforce a consequence for poor choices and behavior earlier in the day. Sometimes it’s hard to be a parent.)

At tonight’s Saints game, Shecklet #3 was using her Aunt Larissa’s phone. Larissa asked if she wanted her to turn the camera around so she could take a photo of herself. #3’s response was, “No, I don’t want to take a selfie!” I have no idea how she even knows what a selfie is. *sigh*
