I was able to get all of the kids in for dental cleanings today. Jake took the day off (for Shecklet #3’a birthday,) so he came with us as well. Four sets of teeth, four great reports! And #4 did awesome during her first check-up! She let Dr. Sharp check her teeth and the hygienist was able to do a complete cleaning.
Shecklet #2 spent the day with his godmother and her family today. For Xmas, Michelle gave him a coupon to spend the day doing Pinterest projects. In addition to the projects, they took the train to the MOA, went to the Children’s Museum and ate at A&W. Lots of awesome memories were made!
Shecklet #1 had to complete a few enrichment projects for their Revolutionary War unit. Here is the comic he drew.
Shecklets 3 & 4 started a new swimming session tonight. Shecklet #4 is taking lessons for the first time – I think she enjoyed being in the water 🏊🏻♀️
But enough to go sledding for a little while, thanks to Dad dumping snow from the front to their sledding track.
This kid. With a little help from Papa and his dad, he came up with “The Light-up Chore Sign.” He tested it with five families (including ours) and received positive feedback from all of the parents 🙂
This guy received the Student of the Month award for his class for the month of February. The character trait he was selected for was positive thoughts. I think he was both surprised and excited to be chosen by his teacher.
Auntie Stacie took Shecklet #4 to Build-a-Bear Workshop for her birthday. (She did the same for Shecklet #3 a few years ago.) Afterwards, we went to Panera for lunch. It was nice to have a chance to catch up with this busy lady!
Shecklet #4 is running a low-grade temp today 🙁 I kept her home from school and was letting her watch some PBS Kids. She shut it off and fell asleep on the couch. My poor baby!
