Three little pig-tailed girls

Today we gathered to celebrate Jake’s youngest cousin graduating from high school. These three cuties all showed up with pigtails. (Shecklet #3 had hers in braids, so they’re a bit hidden in the photo.)

Sorting the school year

Day 2 of summer break. Time to go through papers and projects from the school year. It is so much easier now that the kids can do the initial sort on their own. Then mom has an easier time with round two.

The new big brothers

My friend, Michelle, just had a new baby and I got to spend some time with the two big brothers while their dad was at the hospital.

1000 pieces!

Our friend, Michelle, gave us a puzzle to try to put together. After a couple of weeks of working with the boys, we finished it!

Wax Museum 2018

Shecklet #2 participated in this year’s wax museum at school. He chose James Spangler, who invented the first motorized vacuum. The kids created “buttons” that visitors pushed to “activate” the kids to tell about who they were – complete with costumes and props to look like they were a wax museum statue.
